Dress Code (Uniform Policy)

Pants

Boys and Girls - Solid black or khaki (beige/tan) cotton twill pants (relaxed fit)
plain or pleated front, elastic waist band acceptable
Knee length shorts and Capri pants are acceptable.
No stretch, spandex or baggy pants. No stripes, logs or patterns

Skirts/Shorts

Black or khaki Knee length (No stretch material - No spandex)

Shirts/Blouses

Boys and Girls - Solid white or light blue - long or short sleeves
• cotton/polyester collared golf shirt
• polo style shirt - heavy cotton/polyester no collar no tee shirts
Turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts
No sleeveless, no baare midriff, no logos, no tank tops, no halters, no tube tops, no sheer shirt, no prints, stripes or patterns.

Sweaters/Vests

Boys and Girls - Black, White, tan beige gray or light blue sweaters or vests may be worn. Crewneck, cardigan,turtleneck and mock turtleneck sweaters are acceptable.
No stripes, logos or patterns.

Socks

Black, white or tan ankle or knee socks or opaque tights.

Shoes

Closed shoes or sneakers are acceptable, however shoes are not to be above the ankle, have more than one inch heel or have a platform.

Belts

Boys and girls - plain black or brown belts are acceptable.

Jewelry

Stud errings and watches are acceptable.

Tee Shirts

The only tee shirt that is acceptable as part of the school uniform is the Meredith School tee shirt.

Sweatshirts

The only acceptable sweatshirt as part of the school uniform is the Meredith School sweatshirt.

Hoodie

No Hoodie is acceptable as part of the Meredith School uniform.

Physical Education Dress Requirements

Only on gym days in the winter are students permitted to wear black, white, gray, light blue sweat suits and sneakers (no platform sneakers) In warmer weather students may wear black or kahaki shorts (knee length) and white tee shirt under the uniform shirt. A Meredith tee shirt can be worn for gym.
